About Us

We’re the Page family, Ashley, Josh, Hunter, and Ava; a family of dreamers, doers, and soon-to-be full-time cruisers who believe that life is meant to be lived boldly, intentionally, and together. Our adventure began on land, guided by a shared desire for freedom, connection, and a life that offered our children more than the usual routine. Little by little, that desire grew into a vision: a future spent sailing the world as a family, embracing slow travel, and creating a legacy of courage, curiosity, and adventure.

In 2025, that vision became real when we purchased our 1990 Hunter Passage 42 sailboat, the heart and home of Sailing Roaming Wild. She didn’t come turnkey; she came with a list of surprises and projects that launched us into the world of DIY repairs and learning to sail from scratch. From accidentally flooding our cockpit to troubleshooting electrical failures and unraveling the mysteries of a battery bank, we quickly learned what all new sailors discover: the ocean doesn’t just teach you how to sail, it teaches you patience, resilience, and teamwork.

We’re not lifelong sailors. We’re a beginner sailing family, learning everything step by step, camera in hand, kids on deck, and hearts wide open. Every challenge has become a lesson. Every project has strengthened our confidence. And every moment aboard, from family sunsets in the cockpit to the chaos of toddler life on a sailboat, has drawn us closer to the life we’re building.

Between Ashley’s love for structure and storytelling, Josh’s hands on problem solving, and our children’s endless curiosity, we’re transforming our sailboat into a safe, capable home for future bluewater cruising. Our journey is raw, real, and full of firsts, exactly what makes it worth sharing.

We want to inspire others who are dreaming of a similar path, families, couples, new sailors, anyone longing for more. Through our videos, stories, and behind-the-scenes boat update journey, we hope to show that you don’t need to be experts to chase a wild dream. You just need heart, grit, and the courage to start.

Thank you for being part of our adventure.
The ocean is calling, and the Page family is answering it, one wave at a time.
